Radio Earth Summit - FOE

Created by Friends of the Earth, Radio Earth Summit (RES) provides news, features and interviews with individuals from around the world in the run up to - and during - the Summit. RES will broadcast on-line throughout the Summit, providing news and comment - with updates and more interviews added to the site everyday.
Messages so far include a hard-hitting interview with the internationally-renowned anti-dam campaigner and Booker prize-winning author Arundhati Roy, a message of support from Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke, and Ricardo Navarro of Friends of the Earth International talking about the impact of corporations in El Salvador. All audio from the site is downloadable and can be broadcast copyright free.

WSSD - WWF

The WWF website for the WSSD has links to WWF offices working on the WSSD as well as links to other international organisations working on sustainable development. The site also contains background documents on WWF's position and news items. The website is currently being updated to include case studies of sustainable development in practise, TV and print features on sustainable development and highlights from its Living Planet Report 2002.

Its website provides practical information about attending the Summit (i.e. accommmodation, travel, visas and summit facilities etc.) and activities at the NGO Forum.
